Absolute GEM of a business. Right from the warm greeting by staff and fellow patrons we knew we’d found something very special. Coffee is excellent, fresh baked goods have to be tasted to be believed, the Hash Brown Benedict (with added avo) and the Bengal Street Breakfast are a feast for the senses ( and excellent value). The added bonus was being surrounded by a gorgeous display of hand crafted items (available for sale with monies supporting worthy communities). The beautiful ethos of Half Cup Cafe is felt, tasted and experienced through their top quality products and customer service. One of the best halal cafes I’ve been to here. It doesn’t have the same, generic halal food that most of Adelaide has. It’s a good place for Muslims to try something different than we usually eat, and the food was divine. The space in itself feels a little small, but with all the handmade decor and the warm lights, it feels a lot more cosy and comfortable. You can feel the sustainability in all of the decorations. The service when I went was a bit late, but this is probably because we had a table of 12+ people. When I observed the other tables, their service was quick and orderly. All in all, I would absolutely return here. Majorly recommend to people who enjoy their breakfast/brunches, not only Muslims. ~ Aishath E

It was an AMAZING experience! It’s a nice little area and I absolutely love the aesthetic of the place. We ordered the Bengal Street Breakfast and the Easter Choc-Banana Pistachio Waffles which was part of the weekly special. It was sooo delicious, warm, and filling especially on such a chilly morning. We also ordered a mocha and it was one of the better ones out there. Let me tell you, the service was top tier. We arrived on a Sunday morning so it was pretty quiet but the staff were so attentive and friendly. Would love coming back here again. Also you can order for pickup through their website which I find really convenient especially if you’re heading to the airport afterwards. I think this is a very worthy stop. ~ Autumn P

We just recently visited @halfcupcafe and just the right time as their new menu is out. There are a lot of dishes to choose from, and the drinks will definitely quench your thirst. We ordered Eggs on Toast (scrambled), Hash brown Benedict, Coconut Crab Croissant, Vegan Wild Mushroom Deluxe, Avocado & Ricotta Waffle, Flatwhite, Babychino, Wellness Freshly Squeezed, Tonic Freshly Squeezed, and an Almond Smoothie We enjoyed our meal here and received the warmest hospitality from Rashed. I have also learnt that Half Cup received in 2023 an environmental award for their outstanding contributions to eco-friendly practices. It doesn't stop there. Phenomenal friendly service that is always prompt. We came twice and the friendly barista remembered us from the day before. They are open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, even though that was not advertised which is a shame because they deserve more business. Food was fresh with good portions. The cook was able to accommodate off menu simple switches to style of eggs. A good neighbourhood option that’s open early in the morning and almost daily. Good coffees. The absolute best place to get food in Adelaide. Originally the open hours (early on Sundays) got us to try it out but we keep coming back because the place is amazing. The service and atmosphere is beyond good. It's super relaxing and there are dog friendly areas outside as well. And don't even get me started on the food ... Every dish I've had has unique flavours that make them incredibly delicious. Oh I highly recommend getting a side of the beef bacon ...it has redefined my love affair with bacon :-) If you haven't been to Half Cup yet, you're doing your tastebuds a disservice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Find on the Way! We were on our way to pick someone up from the airport when we found this cafe on Google, and it turned out to be such a wonderful surprise! The place is beautiful, clean, and very cozy. The staff members were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our breakfast was delicious, reasonably priced, and the portions were just right. They even gave our daughter a free piece of cake, which absolutely made her day! Everything was perfect — so convenient and such great service. We drove from the Barossa Valley to run an errand and I wanted to try this place because of the wonderful reviews. I’m so glad we did! What a little gem! The owner is kind, friendly and gracious. The food is delicious. We ordered the Bengal Street breakfast and the Mushroom fritters. Healthy and yummy!! Not your average Aussie breakfast so it felt like a real treat. I also liked the sustainability aspect of the store, supporting Bangladesh schools, water and sanitation projects and Australian Indigenous artists. Yummy food, amazing staff, great vibe. Honestly, this is a wonderful little gem located at the rear of the workshop just off Sir Donald Bradman Drive. The food is by far some of the best I have ever eaten (especially the Banana Bread!) and the coffee is out of this world. Such a great atmosphere and the staff are always so warm, friendly and inviting. They even have a pay it forward wall which helps the local community and in this crisis of living, can make a huge difference for a someone who is struggling. Had brunch here with my sister and niece and was one of the loveliest outings I’ve had! Service was friendly and lovely, with staff chatting and enjoying the morning even as they promptly took our orders and delivered our coffee. They included my 3 year old niece as well and engaged with her too. Really love the atmosphere of the cafe with the focus on Bangladesh—the team had just gotten back from building wells which is admirable work! Great food and experience at Half Cup Cafe. Had the lentil burger which was great and you can tell the patties are handmade and fresh. All others in the group also enjoyed and rated the food highly. The staff and owner are so nice and friendly. The owner is super nice and gave us free brownies for us too - the brownies were on the wetter mix side, but found them good for my liking. First experience with this great cafe. Our group ordered the omelette, bacon/egg brioche and spinach/fritters, all great flavours and good value, perfect coffees and Blu Nana. Sorry no pics, too interested in eating. Relaxed atmosphere, insightful attention from the welcoming staff. Outdoor and indoor, nice smaller and larger spaces with eclectic styles and options for different group sizes. Already planned to go back. Superb, iv been meaning to drop in for ages. My only regret is that I left it so long. In a word, Fabulous! Feels so comfortable, like a friends lounge. Service, can not be faulted. I came in on Wednesday, with my beautiful furry child, Shiloh. At 630 am. She was a bit flat then it went down hill from there. I had to pick my daughter up, off the ground and into the car. I was helped by Jill, and another customer. Sadly, my baby girl passed away. The following day, I came back to thank them. I recieved a really beautiful hug from the boss, Rashed, the girls, Jill and Raine and they gave me something really, really special. HEART, COMPASSION AND SUPPORT. So accomodating. Very lovely people. I stopped in close to closing time for some emergency food. They helped feed me in a rush and even offered me a glass of water while waiting for the take away scramby eggs, somehow knowing I was desperately parched despite me not realising this myself until the sweet sweet water was going down. The food is absolutely delicious! Even got a yummy treat thrown in. There’s a tip jar for money towards a water well. I will be back again whenever in the area. Thanks guys! ~ Kelly J

Truly a gem. Chilled drip single origin coffee served with a round of orange a perfect way to replenish my Fringe Festival ravaged mind and body, follwed up by the Benedict on hash browns. Real hash browns, not the lazy chefs frozen bidvest product. Hand made, chunks of potato, some onion. Made by hand. Real food. As an ex hospitality pro it's nice to see the owner be across all the details, drive his team, putting together the whole quirky package. Next Adelaide trip I'll be back. ~ jay p

I've enjoyed a coffee and a small bite to eat at Half Cup a handful of times now. The iced lattes are refreshing, and the house made cakes I've tried have been really flavoursome and not overly sweet - a treat without being an indulgence. It is a lovely spot, with a warm and friendly vibe. The owner takes great pride in his customer service, and getting to know his regulars. A great atmosphere with friendly staff. My breakfast was the hash brown Benedict and the mango chia pudding. The homemade hash brown was amazing and unique. At the end, the café treated us to a delicious slice of orange cake, which was incredible — it completely lifted my mood and made my day. Highly recommended! Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious, beautiful presented, and full of flavour. Ok I’ve been eating here on my lunch breaks/weekends for a while now, it’s time I wrote a review! The most perfect poached eggs I’ve ever eaten! And they’re like that every single time! Ive tried so many of the meals on the menu and am never disappointed. Love the sweets, the coffee is really great, beautiful staff, and it’s a lovely place to dine in! I was coming late around 1.20, so asked if they still accept order, then they said they are, so i decided to just do take away rather than dine in and today the rain showering non stop and i felt cold. the ladies offered me coffee but i refused and then they insisted for hot water while waiting for my food which then i accepted beyond happy for the services 💞 i ordered the cinnamon toast!, super yummy! ~ hafifah h
